The Washington Association of Child Advocate Program’s ICWA committee is pleased to once again to offer our 5th “ICWA Institute” — a series of intensive training courses designed for Child Advocate volunteers and staff to be better able to provide best interests advocacy for Native American youth in and out of State and Tribal Court.
This year’s iteration of the institute will be hosted entirely via Zoom and in conjunction with the 28th annual conference, November 1 – 5. All courses will run from 2:30 PM – 4:00PM.
In order for you to receive a certificate of completion, you’ll need to participate in all 5 sessions and also the closing keynote featuring Washington Supreme Court Justice Raquel Montoya-Lewis. Registration is the same for all sessions — the Zoom registration link will allow you to select which days you’d like to attend. If you’re interested in receiving your certificate for the full class, be sure to click all 6 boxes!
Enrollment fees for this training are included as part of your conference registration.
